Before Jesus Changed My Life

I was raised with a sense of “faith,” but it was always kept internal and never truly shaped how I lived. I was constantly searching for validation and praise, and I carried a chip on my shoulder because of my upbringing. I was driven by ego and self-reliance. No matter what I achieved, it never brought lasting satisfaction.

How Jesus Changed My Life

There was a season in my life when many things were taken away from me — love, family, and even my health, including a moment when I was declared dead on an operating table. It felt as though my entire identity had been stripped away. In that breaking, I came to see my own sin and how much I had built my life on myself rather than on God. I believe the Lord used that season to humble me and begin making me into a new man. By His grace, He gave me a second chance at life and not a day is wasted. I did nothing to deserve it, yet Jesus met me with mercy and grace, reminding me that my life is His because of what He has done for me. I owe everything to the Lord, who taught me to let go and place my trust in Him.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

Now I live with a new sense of calm and peace. Although I am still human and continue to fall short, I no longer feel the need to impress others or chase after things that do not last. I am at peace with my place in this world and rest in my faith in Jesus, who gave everything for me so that I could have new life.
