Before Jesus Changed My Life

I was raised attending a Christian church, but it felt more like a routine than a relationship with Jesus. I believed that being a “good person” was enough and didn’t think much about my need for a Savior or about eternal life.

How Jesus Changed My Life

During a season when, as a father, I should have been leading my family to follow Jesus, God instead reached out to me through my child. Being saved wasn’t an overnight moment, but something God revealed to me over time. I began to understand that I could not save myself through good works. Ephesians 2:8 has been especially impactful for me — “saved by grace.” Salvation is a gift, given through Jesus, not something I could earn.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

Living as someone saved by Christ brings real peace. When God comes first, the way you see the world changes. It becomes easier to show grace and forgiveness to others when you understand that God has shown that same grace and forgiveness to you through Jesus.
